Leonardo Prieto has been invited as a guest teacher at Rotterdam Conservatory in many occasions: as a main subject teacher of Tres Cubano, as a project leader of The World Music Orchestra and as a workshop leader teaching Mexican music.
He also has been invited to teach Mexican music in different institutions and parts of the world. In 2016 in Paris, France at ‘Encuentro de Jaraneros. In Mexico City as a sub teacher of folklore for children.
He was teacher and coordinator of big projects in the country side in Mexico from 1997 to 2002 to teach reading and writing to adults, develop community projects and give workshops in music.
